Qaida Nooraniyyah
Qaida Nooraniyyah is a world famous text that is excellent for learning how to read the Quran and Arabic.

The Quran is the speech of Allah and enough of an honour for the Quran is that it is the speech of Allah.

Every speech is weighed according to who spoke it. For example if a child informs you their parent just bought them an aeroplane, how would you take it? Of course, you would look at the child and taking into consideration the fact that he is a child you would understand that he was given a toy aeroplane.

You also judge accordingly if your friend who has a modest income tells you he just bought a really nice car. By ‘really nice’ you understand he means according to his ability. But, if you hear a king or a millionaire bought a really nice car, or built a really nice house, you understand that the car he bought, or the house that he built, is going to be the best that there is.

Also, how many people do you give salaams to each day? But, the news of your salaam giving does not appear in the newspapers or televisions. On the other hand, whenever a president sends another president a greeting, the papers, televisions and websites are full of that news.

Now, think about the level of the speech of Allah, the lord of all worlds, the king of all kings, the one who all the creation are his slave, the one who honours who he wishes, the one who dishonours who he wishes, the one who gives life to who he wishes and causes to die who he wishes.

By Allah, we are in heedlessness and were it not for the mercy of Allah, who has made it easy for us, we would not be able to read the Quran. Allah says:

If We had sent down this Qur’an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought. [59:21]

If the mountains with their might and stature are unable to handle the Quran, then how is it that the human who is weak in comparison to the mountains is able to read it and memorise it?
Allah says:
وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْ‌نَا الْقُرْ‌آنَ لِلذِّكْرِ‌ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ‌

And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember? [54:17]

So, it is Allah who has facilitated and made it easy for us to read, memorise and understand the Quran.

It is only our ignorance of the greatness of Allah that we read the Quran while in a state of heedlessness and not paying any attention.

The angels who know the greatness of Allah, fall unconscious when they hear the speech of Allah and when they wake up they ask each other what did our lord say?

There cannot be a Muslim or a Muslimah that can go without the Quran as the prophet told us in a sahih hadith: That chest which does not have any Quran in it is like an abandoned house.
